   the best thing is that you can layer three to four genius wefts on top each other and it will still be thinner than one layer of a machine sewn weft. the genius wefts also don't have a "beard" like machine sewn wefts, because with this process, the loose hair does not have to be folded. this way, the hair dries much much quicker and your blow dry time reduces as well as the risk for fungal growth within the braids.
   
   I bought 2 bundles of 28inch in the color #8. The quality is great, the hair is straight after washing and air drying it, which is why I order my hair from joicehair. I previously had so many vendors who sold "straight remy" but after washing it it becomes wavy to curly. straight hair from joicehair is actually straight and not frizzy. the price is also very competitive.
   
   The weft does not shed after cutting it. however, when the braids grow out, the wefts drop to the ears and the weft material is rather rough. and the ends of the weft are a little sharp and this will irritate your skin if you don't coat the ends of the weft with something soft.
